"The gift of the magi' is a short story by American writer o.henry , first published in 1905. The story tells of a young husband and wife and how they deal with the challenge of buying secret Christmas gift of each 
Other with only a small amount of money . As a sentimal story with a moral lesson about gift giving, it has been popular for presentation at Christmas time.the plot and it's twist ending are well known, the ending is generally considered an example of cosmic irony the story was allegedly written at pet's tavern on lirving place in New York City .

When jim comes home from work that evining. Della confesses to selling her hair to buy him the chain. Jim then gives della hear present: the set of jeweled combs she has always wanted, but cannot use until her hair grows back out. Della gives jim the chain, and he reveals that he had sold his watch to buy the combs.  While Thay known the gifts Thay gave each other cannot be used for a while, jim and della realize how far thay have gone to show each other their love and how invaluable it truly is.

The story ends with the narrator declaring that those who sacrifice their material 
Possessions for the people thay love are as wise as the magi who brought gifts to Jesus and invented the tradition of giving presents on Christmas.

हल्दीघाटी का युद्ध जुन  1576 मेवाड़ के महाराणा प्रताप का समर्थन करने वाले घुड़सवार व धनुर्धारी का समर्थन प्राप्त है। राणा की सेना और मुगलों के बीच युद्ध हुआ था। जिसका नेतृत्व आमेर के राजा मानसिंह पृथम ने किया था। अकबर की सेना महाराणा प्रताप की सेना से चार गुनी बड़ी थी। इस युद्ध में पृताप को भीलों का सहयोग भी मिला था। इस युद्ध में मुगलों की सेना में मानसिंह सहित कई सेना पति थे। फिर भी महाराणा प्रताप के आगे टिक नहीं पाए।  चारण रामा जी साधु महाराणा प्रताप के सेना नायक के रूप में हल्दीघाटी में उपस्थित थे। उन्होंने बड़ी वीरता से युद्ध किया था और मुगलों को सबसे अधिक छतिगसत किया था।  1568 चितोडगड की विकट घेराबंदी ने मेवाड़ की उपजाऊ पूर्व बेल्ट मुगलों को दे दिया था। बल्कि बाकी जंगल और पहाड़ी राज्य पृताप के हाथ में थे। मेवाड़ के माध्यम से अकबर गुजरात के लिए स्थिर मार्ग हासिल करने का आमदा रखता था। लेकिन महाराणा प्रताप की वीरता के मारे आगे नहीं बढ़ पाया  1572  को पृताप सिंह को राजा का ताज पहनाया गया। तो अकबर ने की दुतो को भेजा, और अकबर ने लोगों को वहां का जागीरदार बानाने क...

महाराणा प्रताप के जन्म स्थान के प़ृस्न पर दो धारनाय आती है।पहला महाराणा प्रताप का जन्म कुंभलगढ़ दुर्ग में हुआ था। क्योंकि महाराणा उदय सिंह एवं जयवंताबाई का विवाह कुंभलगढ़ में हुआ । दूसरी धारणा यह है कि उनका जन्म पाली के राजमहलों में हुआ। महाराणा प्रताप की मां का नाम जयवंताबाई था। जो पाली के सोनगरा अखैराज की बेटी थी। महाराणा प्रताप का बचपन भील सामुदाय के साथ बीता, भीलों के साथ ही वे युद्ध कला सीखते थे , भील अपने पुत्र को कीका कहकर पुकारते हैं। इसलिए भील महाराणा प्रताप को कीका कहकर पुकारते थे। लेकिन लेखक बिजय नाहर की पुस्तक हिन्दुवा सूर्य महाराणा प्रताप के अनुसार जब प़़ताप का जन्म हुआ था उस समय उदय सिंह युद्ध आसुरछा से घिरे हुए थे कुंभलगढ़ किसी तरह से सुरक्षित नहीं था। जोधपुर के शक्तिशाली राठोड़ी राजा, राजा मालदेव उन दिनों उत्तर भारत के साबसे शक्तिशाली थे। एवं जयवंताबाई के पिता एवं पत्नी के सासक सोनगरा अखैराज मालदेव का एक विश्वसनीय सामंत एवं सेनानायक था। इस कारण से पाली और मारवाड़ सुरक्षित था।  और रणबंका राठोड़ो की कामधज सेना के सामने अकबर की शक्ति कम थी। अतः जयवंताबाई को पाली भेजा ग...
